Baltimore Washington Medical Center Earth Day Event ( 11:00 am - 2:00 pm )

Baltimore Washington Medical Center is hosting an Earth Day event on April 24th from 11am - 2pm.  They are looking for someone who will come and talk about how rain barrels work.  If you are interested in representing WSA at this event, please contact Jennifer Vaccaro: jvaccaro@aacps.org.

South County Networking Night ( 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm )

In an effort to collaborate and kickstart restoration and outreach efforts for this year, WSA invites you to a networking night for South County stewards and watershed friendsat Thursdays Steak and Crabhouse, 4851 Riverside Rd, Galesville MD 20765.  Drinks, appetizers and dinner all available for purchase. 

 We will discuss Riverfest, rain barrel campaigns, and more! Bring your project plans and ideas! Gingerville Pavillion Project ( 9:00 am - 2:00 pm )

Saturday, April 26th from 9 am- 2 pm at 135 Tarragon Lane in Edgewater, MD.

Prescription Drug Take-Back Day ( 10:00 am - 2:00 pm )

“The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. DON’T FLUSH Rx DRUGS DOWN THE TOILET!” Drop them off at the Anne Arundel Police Southern District: 35 Stepney’s Lane, Edgewater OR Annapolis Police Department: 199 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis.

Celebrate Earth Day at Severna Park Middle School!

Eco-Adventures Earth Day Extravaganza ( 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm )

What better place to party for the planet than in out rainforest! Come out April 26th for all the fun and games as pay tribute to Mother Earth. We hope to make her proud with lots of environmental entertainment, and enlightenment; live animal interactions, face paintings, moon bounce, eco- friendly crafts, food, fun, and more! It’s going to be an ENORMOUS Earth Day, blow-out party for the planet, not to be missed.Volunteers needed to run the WSA table. Please contact Suzanne Etgen for more details.

Earth Water Faith Festival ( 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm )

The Chesapeake Interfaith Environmental Group's third annual celebration of the Earth with activities, displays and demonstrations from the faith groups and environmental organizations in the Annapolis area.
