What is GIS?Geographic Information System (GIS) captures and integrates data that is geographically referenced. The Anne Arundel County WERS GIS Mapping Application displays much of the environmental, utility and land use data for Anne Arundel County and can be used by all citizens to learn about their watershed. It was created and is maintained by the Anne Arundel County Watershed Ecosystem Restoration Services Office.
